Certain Pictures tells engaging stories through film. With extensive experience in the film and commercial worlds, we bring our diverse creative talents and business consulting experience to every project. A full-service production company, we help focus ideas and create content.
In addition to our own productions, we have worked with a broad range of businesses and non-profits including The Museum of Modern Art, The Economist, PwC, BCG, Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co.), Adidas, The Hammerstein Foundation and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
ANTHONY ROSSELLO - FOUNDER
Anthony Rossello founded Certain Pictures in 2005 and oversees all development and production activity of the company. He is an award-winning producer, director and editor with a professional background in technology and business consulting.
Anthony serves clients in the commercial and non-profit spaces, with the occasional independent project as time allows. Drawing on his consulting training, Anthony is an effective interviewer, easily drawing out business leaders to tell their stories on camera and carefully curating content in post-production. He just as fluently acts as a creative director, providing vision to clients, artists and animators to create high-impact stories from concept to final product.
A documentary on pre-fabricated architecture that Anthony produced, directed and edited, "BURST*008," is in the permanent collection of The Museum of Modern Art.
Prior to his career in film, Anthony spent fifteen years as a technology and business consultant. Beginning his technology career during the internet dark ages, he built websites and managed teams through the first dot-com bubble, eventually gravitating to the intersection of technology and film. Anthony last worked at Korn Consulting Group as Senior Project Director. Prior to that, he worked at Katzenbach Partners, where he built and served as Director of the Application Development department.
Anthony is also an accomplished musician. Schooled as a classical trumpet player, he now finds guitar and ukulele more suitable for NYC apartment living. Anthony lives with his wife and two young daughters in Greenwich Village, NYC.
